Astronomy Equipment Beginners’ Clinic

The Astronomical Society of Greater Harford will host a free clinic for anyone who would like to learn how to set up and use their telescope or binoculars. The clinic will be held Wednesday evening, January 18, at 8:00 PM. This is an indoor event and will be held at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT in Copernicus Hall, room 507 (Fifth floor). Attendance is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please register at hartfordastroclinic.eventbrite.com to attend. The members of the Astronomical Society of Greater Hartford (ASGH) will be on hand to share their knowledge of telescopes and astronomical equipment. ASGH members have experience in visual observing, telescope making and astrophotography. Members of the public are encouraged to bring their astronomy equipment for assistance in its set-up and use.
