As a service to our community, Sky & Telescope lists astronomy-related events, including star parties, observatory public nights, astronomy talks, and more. Star parties offer dark skies and astronomical fellowship and often cater to families and feature special activities for kids. Public nights give the general public a chance to view the sky through large telescopes, and public talks are a great place to learn the fundamentals of the science and the craft.

I Heart Pluto Festival | Pluto Pub Crawl

Explore Flagstaff’s finest pubs, bars, and brewhouses — in the shape of the Pluto symbol! After receiving a map of all participating destinations, you’ll be turned loose to enjoy historic downtown alongside fellow Pluto-lovers! Along the way, you’ll find educators giving laser-guided stargazing and science talks, trivia, and more.

Maps will be available soon and will be found throughout downtown Flagstaff, at Lowell Observatory, or on the Pluto Pub Crawl page on the I Heart Pluto website.
