Pensacola Beach Pavilion Star Gaze
October 19, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - October 20, 2018 @ 12:00 am EDT
Final sidewalk astronomy public gaze at Pensacola Beach Pavilion for 2018. This is the 42nd year of public outreach on the beaches by members of the Escambia Amateur Astronomers. Venus is gone, but last shot at Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the first quarter moon. Bring smartphone to get great shots through our scopes. Free star maps, scope tips, constellation mythology sky tour, satellite spotting, and the occasional meteor!
The 2019 schedule for beach gazes will be available next March. We continue to host deep sky gazes over the winter at Big Lagoon State Park.
