Space Education and Strategic Applications Conference
October 16 @ 8:45 am - 5:00 pm EDT
An event every day that begins at 8:45 am, repeating until October 16, 2020
The purpose of the SESA conference is to promote multidisciplinary conversation about issues related to both military and civilian space, at the intersection between science, technology, and policy. The event advances the interest of PSO and its partners in providing a platform for the dissemination of ideas across the social and political spectrum on the emerging field of Space Studies.
As more discussions have emerged throughout the years around space issues across different PSO’s projects, we felt the need to focus on a specific conference dedicated to this theme. At the same time, we will be launching, in cooperation with American Public University System, our new Space Education and Strategic Applications journal, to assist in the dissemination of scholarship.
Featured speakers include: Barbara M. Barrett, Secretary of the US Air Force; Dr. Julielynn Wong, NASA Researcher; Natalie Panek, Senior Engineer in Mission Systems at the Missile Defense Agency; among others.
Please note this conference will be entirely virtual, using the Whova, and Zoom Webinar platforms. Details will be sent to all registered participants.
