The NASA Glenn Visitor Center in Cleveland, Ohio will be hosting an event entitled: Space Medicine on Saturday, March 17th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. By combining the talent and knowledge of NASA and the Cleveland Clinic, we can improve life on Earth and develop real solutions to the human health issues faced during long-duration spaceflight. Learn about how space medicine affects your health. Presentations: “Keeping Bones Healthy on Mars”, Dr. Peter Cavanagh at 11:00 a.m. and “Space Exercise Brought Down to Earth”, Gail Perusek at 1:00 p.m. Kids crafts, “Picture Yourself in Space” photos and bonus tour!
