The NASA Glenn Visitor Center in Cleveland, Ohio will be hosting an event entitled: Space Rovers on Saturday, June 16th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited to join us and to find out how these wheeled vehicles have played an important role in the exploration of space. At 11 a.m. Steve Bauman (NASA Aerospace Engineer) will present “Roving on the Moon” followed at 1:00 p.m. by Dr. Geoffrey Landis (NASA Mars Scientist) who will present “Roving on Mars.” Reservations are required for these free presentations and can be made by calling 216-433-9653. As part of this event, NASA Glenn will be offering a special tour of the Simulated Lunar Operations (SLOPE) facility (see web site for details after June 25th).
