Super Stellar Friday: “Star Clusters”

The Milky Way abounds with beautiful star clusters. Each cluster can have hundreds – some even thousands – of stars. Discovery Center Educator Bob Veilleux will discuss how these clusters formed, present some amazing images, and show you where to find some beautiful ones – including the Great Hercules Cluster (M13), visible all summer long.
Recommended for ages 8+. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
$9 Adult, $6 Child (3-12), $8 Student/Senior. Free for Members. If General Admission is purchased earlier that day, program ticket is $3.
