The Newark Museum presents THE AMAZING TELESCOPE: TWO PIECES OF GLASS. Celebrate the International Year of Astronomy and trace the 400-year history of the telescope from Galileo’s primitive spyglass to the launch of NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and the future of astronomy. See how telescopes work and how the largest observatories in the world use these instruments to explore the wonders and mysteries of the universe. Soundtrack features the London Symphony Orchestra. This 30 minute planetarium program runs through Dec. 24, Wednesday through Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Recommended for adults and children ages 10 and up. Tickets: $3.00 Adults; $2.00 kids & seniors.
