The Astronomical Society of Tunisia is a scientific association founded in June 1990 by a group of Tunisian amateur astronomers. Its principal aim is to promote astronomy in Tunisia (outreach and research). Our association contributed in the 1990s, in collaboration with the ministry of education, three courses of astronomy for high-school students.
