BBVAS has been in existance since 1989. We have public meetings at the Big Bear Discovery Center on the 4th Tuesday of the month and staff meetings at local restaurants on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. We have star parties at the Johnson Valley Starparty site on the dark of the moon Saturday and two campout star parties at Grandview Campground in the White mountains. BBVAS concentrates its efforts at astro-imaging and outreach.
