We are an active Astronomy Group, promoting Science (Astronomy) to the Grand Public and School Children and Teachers. With a team of professionals and amateurs, we have the qualifications to prepare teachers in Astronomy and the ability to give talks and projects to young pupils at schools. We reside in a small island (Madeira), with 230 000 inhabitants. We have a small Laboratory of Astronomy and Instrumentation, available for all levels, from primary school to science projects at the PhD level at the University.
