The Springfield Telescope Makers own and operate the Stellafane Observatory National Historic Site; we put on the annual Stellafane Convention in July or August; we hold an annual Mirror Making Class in the fall and winter; and we operate the Hartness-Porter Museum of Amateur Telescope Making.

We have four major observatories: The historic 1930 Porter Turret Telescope and the circa 1930 Hale Spectrohelioscope in the Simoni Observatory (both on the historic site) ; The 13" f/10 Schupmann Telescope in the McGregor Observatory and a 10" Ritchey-Chretien under the dome in the Bruening Observatory.
