Life has been crazy lately, but as crazy as it gets, I always manage to try and find some time to look into the deep sky. I've been wanting to image this emission nebula for some years now, and finally see myself with the equipment, the knowledge and a clear night to do so. This object shines by the ionizing ultraviolet radiation. With a distance of 5,200 light-years from planet earth, it still spans an area of sky about three times the size of the full moon. It's the object that stands out the most to me when looking at wide angle shots of the milky way. I hope you enjoy this work as much as me, I loved the result! 883 x 10 seconds = 147 minutes © Living Impressions - Photography @living.impressions
