Description:
Stripes of absorption in the Vega spectrum, and stripes of atmospheric emission caused by the excitation of atoms in the atmosphere caused by charged particles emitted by the Sun and which caused the Aurora Borealis. The excitation of Nitrogen atoms in the far Ultraviolet and Infrared and of Oxygen atoms in the visible was recorded.
