This photo captured the dazzling Aurora Borealis over the Catskill Mountains. The bright star Capella can be seen on the left side of the frame along with a bright meteor streaking across the sky. From there, the multicolored pillars of light encompass the entire horizon and can be seen overlying the constellation Cassiopeia. Exposure details: ISO 3200, 15 sec atf/4.5
