The French Village Observatory is located in Tupper Lake, NY. The FVO is a private observatory with limited public access (by appointment). The primary focus is on High School level astronomy and Public outreach. The main scientific emphasis is on asteroid detection and astrometry. I also have limited remote access capability via high speed internet using JAVA capable web browsers.
