Club reorganized in 2010, operates two observatories, one is private and one at Homolovi State Park in a partnership. Club members built and support the Winslow Homolovi Observatory for public access. Club provides public star parties throughout Navajo, Apache and Gila Counties. Library Programs and community outreach. Members provided to Winslow High School for two semesters an Astronomy Enrichment Course. Our partners for community program include outreach with guest speakers from Lowell Observatory, Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies, Hopi and Navajo Nations, Meteor Crater, Arizona State Parks and Trails, Homolovi Chapter Arizona Archaeological Society Archaeo-astronomy in prehistoric sites. Club hosts monthly star parties from March through November in the Winslow Homolovi Observatory listed online at www.azstateparks.gov/stars
