The Central Coast Astronomical Society serves San Luis Obispo County, California, and has been connecting the community with the night sky since 1979. We host monthly public stargazing events at dark-sky locations, along with quarterly speaker presentations on astronomy and space science. Our programs are open to the public and designed to make astronomy accessible and engaging for all experience levels. Members also have access to telescope lending and opportunities to participate in community outreach events.
