The Nevada Northern Railway operates weekly train trips into some of the darkest skies in the United States! Ride one of our historic trains from the depot in downtown Ely, NV to our Bortle 2 observing site in the high desert! You can ride in a climate-controlled train car or watch twilight fall from an open-top car.
