Additional Information

NSAAC meets on the first Friday (except for July) of the month at the handicap-accessible Center at 10 Elm at 10 Elm Street in Boxford, MA 01921. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm with a very short business meeting, followed by an entertaining presentation on a subject of general interest to the amateur astronomy community.

Meetings are fun and informative, so come in and see us! You don't need any special equipment or knowledge to have a great time. If you have a telescope we can arrange to help you learn how to use it. If you are thinking of getting one, we can help with that too -- come to a few observing sessions and look through the many kinds of telescopes owned by our members before you shop.

The club runs observing sessions during the school year at the Mendel Observatory at Merrimack College (clear Wednesday nights) and the Collins Observatory at Salem State University (clear Monday nights). In addition we run star parties in conjunction with local schools and not-for-profits and pop-up observing sessions for club members.
