TRAC - Exploring the Galaxy since 2023

The Taverners Road Astronomy Club (TRAC) is a small, friendly, active youth astronomy club based in Rainham, Kent. We aim to observe as many moons, planets, and stars as possible throughout the year.

Observing Meetings

We usually meet on clear Friday and Saturday evenings and on weekday nights during school holidays. We always try to make the most of evenings with clear skies.

Astronomy Outreach

TRAC also organises fun outreach events whenever a special astronomical event occurs, like a solar or lunar eclipse. Anyone with an interest in astronomy is welcome to come along and observe through our telescopes and binoculars.
