The TCAA was founded in 1960. We are a very active club with many activities for members and outreach to the general public. We hold an annual Introduction to Amateur Astronomy course and have three domed observatories and two roll-off-roof observatories with telescopes ranging in aperture from 90mm (H-alpha) to 24". We also have night vision technology for use with our 20" telescope that yields an effective aperture of 60".
