Description:

At about 1pm today while trying diligently to image comet TA in broad daylight, I discovered that the super thin moon was very near the Sun. To test my ability to image this close, I took a few frames and it came out great. (I didn't quite get the comet today). Here is that 1.1 percent ultra thin moon, with my 10 inch to share with you. Its amazing to see the dark gaps in the crescent!
