Description:
A single 1 second exposure of Comet 17P Holmes taken on 28 October 2007 using a Canon Power Shot A420 digital camera set to ISO 400 coupled to a 6 inch Newtonian reflector. I was fortunate to have at the time of the exposure the Moon entirely covered by clouds and the comet as well as the rest of the sky completely free.
