Description:

Here is a compilation of lunar disk images of all 12 full moons of 2022. I was able to catch the full moons from Bursa, Turkey using the same equipment, and all the images are to scale. So, the change of angular size of full moons along the course of the year is visible. This change of Moon's visible size is because of the changing distance of the Moon along its elliptical orbir around the Earth. Full moons of July and August had the Moon at perigee; they were also called supermoon. The last full moon of 2022 in December was at apogee, so it has the smallest apparent size
