Description:

After the Perseus Double Cluster, we also wanted to try to shoot the cloud of ionized Hydrogen that envelops the asterism known as Kemble's Cascade. I must admit that mine was just a feeling, not supported by any evidence, when we started shooting with a narrow band filter and monochromatic camera of my trusted friend Alessandro de Pace. So, I searched on Astrobin for images that could support my hypothesis and I found confirmation of the initial intuition but I could not find a photo showing such an evident cloud of ionized hydrogen on the web. I believe this is the first picture that show Kemble's Cascade immersed in the ionized hydrogen of our Milky Way.
