Description:
Abell 36 in Virgo is one of the few non galaxy targets we can image on spring evenings. I was able to record this intereting object over the span of a few months with both RGB and narrow band filters. A beautiful mix of reds and blues are seen here, no small fine structure however are apparent. This is a 2x crop from the original image, since even the largest planetaries are still to small for our 10 inch. Technical Data: 10" f/3.9 Newtonian astrograph, Atik 16200 CCD, LRGB = 7 hours total, Payson, Az.
