Description:

A single-frame image of the beautiful double star Albireo (Beta Cygni). The angular separation is approximately 34 arcseconds, easily resolved with modest optical aid. Albireo A is a K3 (orange) giant whilst Albireo B is a B8 (blue) upper main sequence star.
