Description:
Imaging in autumn or in winter is not an easy task for people like me who do that up in the mountains. I live in a very light polluted area and I have to travel a couple of hours by car to get to a dark sky where I can truly enjoy the beauty of the night sky. In this time of the year, though, temperature drops easily far below zero and when humidity starts to raise a thick layer of ice grows all over my instruments and all over myself as well. Having a beard doesn’t help either, since I start to look like Santa. But when I get back home, begin developing my picture and I see those colors popping out, then all of a sudden, the effort, the cold, the lack of sleep and all that go away in a flash.
