Telescope reflector aperture 114mm (4.5"), focal length 900mm and eyepiece (1.25") 13mm. Digital camera 10 megapixels and optical zoom 5X.

Description:

Arcturus is a double star, in the constellation of Boötes. It is an orange giant star located about 36.71 light years. Arcturus is fourth brightest star, to include the Sun (Source: Stellarium and Wikipedia). Taken with afocal method and ISO 400. Image processed with RegiStax6 (6 pictures). Picture enlarged and cutting.

Arcturus is not a double star. Mistake in Stellarium 0.12.4.
