Description:
Saturn was at opposition (Earth between Saturn and the Sun), and the Moon is at opposition (Earth between the Moon and Sun) once a month, at full moon, which was last night. That put Saturn and the moon amazingly close together -- you had to block the moon with your finger to get a glimpse of Saturn, at 10 o'clock, north and east, and less than an arc minute from the edge of the moon.
