Description:
Around 7 p.m. when I was first viewing it, it was obvious in the west, north, east, and at the zenith. By 10 p.m. when I finally was set up to take photos it was more in the north and east, not extending to the zenith. Still visible to the naked eye but not as bright as earlier. Stunning reds and occasional greenish patches. The photo below is a wide angle shot. Cassiopeia is to the left of center with the Pleiades in the bottom right. ISO 1250, 12mm lens at f/2, 5 seconds.
