Description:

Hunsecker’s Mill Bridge is a well-known central Pennsylvania landmark. Spanning the winding Conestoga river; the wooden covered bridge is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The wooden bridge was first built in 1848 and rebuilt in 1973 following hurricane damage. Using Stellarium and some good ole’ fashion trigonometry, the optimal time to photograph the rising full moon through the historic bridge was determined. If you look closely, you can see the familiar “V” pattern of Hyades as well as the Pleiades cluster near the top of the star field.
