Description:

Hello Everyone, Here is a very rarely imaged target in Andromeda, the molecular cloud LDN534 with the splashy star cluster Aveni-Hunter 1 lying inside its birth cloud near the bottom of the nebulous streak. It is not entirely known what caused the cluster to form here, possibly a nearby supernova or wind from a hot blue supergiant nearby. None the less it is a perfect fit for our 2 degree wide field of our ten inch astrograph. See Sue French's Deep Sky Wonders book for more details. Technical Data: 10" f/2.8 GSO astrograph, Atik 16200 CCD, RGB = 2 hours total, Payson, Az.
