Description:

I was lucky enough to witness the total solar eclipse of 2024 in Quebec, Canada. With the weather being unpredictable, I decided to make the 8h or so drive to Quebec from Southern Ontario to increase my chances. It was worth it! This is my favourite shot of this eclipse! It is a composite of Baily's beads and prominences during second contact (C2), as totality began and at third (C3) contact, when totality ended. I am still in awe of this spectacle! Until the next one!
