Description:

This deep field is covered with tawny dust. On the left is the Seahorse nebula - Barnard 150. You can see it is merely a denser concentration of this localized dust cloud. On the right are two remarkable objects, also immersed in the foreground dust. The galaxy NGC6946 is a beautiful spiral and is dimmed considerably by the dust, and tinted yellow as well. Note the faint halo around this galaxy, not seen very often in images. Above it is the dense cluster NGC6939 complete with golden and blue super giants. So much going on here. Technical Data: 8" f/2 RASA astrograph, ASI2600mm, RGB = 2 hours total, Happy Jack, Az.
