Description:

The summer Milky Way is rising earlier every night and now dominates the sky after 2am. Beaver Point is a popular hiking and camping area on Saltspring Island with panoramic views on the other Gulf Islands. Scorpio is partially washed out in the light pollution from Victoria. This area of the Gulf Islands and surrounding waters are part of unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish First Nations, including the SENĆOŦEN and Hul'qumi'num speaking people.
