May 30, 2026: The rise of the Blue Moon. It was truly thrilling to watch the moon rise from the snow-capped summit of Mount Uludağ (2,486 m)—located 52 km from my summer home in the Esence neighborhood of Bursa—as the mountain’s crimson glow illuminated the sky.
