DSI Pro II on 10"LX200R at f/3.3. Guided with DSI II on Orion ED80. Schuler narrowband filters.

Description:

This closeup of NGC 281, an emmission nebula in Cassiopeia also known as the PacMan nebula, was taken over 2 moonlit nights using narrowband filters. The Bok globules are immense molecular clouds which absorb light from the main nebula and can be star forming. The total exposure time was 7 hours, 3 hours of Ha and 4 hours of OIII with 5.5 minute subexposures.
