Description:
Taken at WSP 2025, LDN 1622 was placed perfectly for many hours of acquisition. This is my longest campaign with a OSC, and fortunately I was able to capture data every night. Total integration of 256 x 300sec exposures. My wife complained on the initial go that it was "too creepy, don't they have a smiley face nebula?" I explained...it is the Boogey Man Nebula after all! In an attempt of appeasement, and to lighten the mood a bit, I really wanted to warm it up. While probably not the most traditional presentation, I really enjoyed how it turned out!
