Description:

This is a 2-panel mosaic depicting the rich area around the famous Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635 or Sh2-162) between the constellations Cepheus and Cassiopeia. In addition to Sh2-162 (top center), the main subjects featured in the image are the Lobster Claw Nebula (Sh2-157, bottom left), Sh2-159 (center), Sh2-161 (the vast HII area on the right), NGC 7538 (the brightest nebula in the lower right) and the star clusters NGC 7510 (below, under the Claw) and M52 (above, to the right of the Bubble).
