Description:

Tonight's full Supermoon, the first of four consecutive Full Supermoons, is known as the Buck Moon because at this time of year, the antlers of male deer grow rapidly, sometimes to impressive sizes. Montage was created from images of the moon rising from behind mountains alongside our new home in Alpine, California, USA.
