Description:
A short exposure (7m 6s stack) of 8th magnitude C/2017 T2 PanSTARRS tracking through Ursa Major near the 'pointer-star' Dubhe. The sunward pointing dust tail cprobably consists of millimetre scale dust particles under the influence of the forces of gravity and solar radiation pressure. Earth passed through the comet's orbital plane on 25th May (4 days before this image).
