Location of Photo:

Newport, South Wales, UK

Date/Time of photo:

28th November 2019 / 06h 22m UT mid exposure

Equipment:

Achromatic Meade 102mm f/7.8 refractor on Sky-Watcher EQ2 mount. Nikon D3200 camera.

Description:

This is a 3m 13s total exposure image consisting of 30x 6s and 1x 13s subframes at 3200 ISO. I had no finder to locate so had to judge by eye using the nearby Capella and epsilon Aurigae as a guide. The comet was luckily acquired at the very bottom left of the frames (of which I was unaware until images were downloaded from the camera).
