Description:

On 25th May the Earth moved into the geometric plane of the orbit of this PanSTARRS comet. The very dominant sunward pointing tail is very evident and now narrow due to the geometry. I locally enhanced an approximate circle around the comet to bring out the tail and applied a little extra blur there to diminish effects of noise. The comet had just passed by the M81/82, NGC 3077 grouping.
