Description:
We've got clear skies on Wednesday night May 6 here in southern Ontario. I checked Stellarium and was happy to find that C/2020 R4 ATLAS was at the vicinity of the Whale Galaxy and the Crowbar Galaxy. A bright comet is nice and who can resist having a couple of funny-shaped galaxies also thrown into the mix? :) C/2020 R4 ATLAS currently has a magnitude of around 9.4. A small tail can be readily seen despite the moderately light-polluted sky (Bortle 6).
