Description:
I had been wanting to photograph this face of the dunes for a long time, and the appearance of Comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) felt like the perfect opportunity. The comet wasn't visible to the naked eye, but just seeing it through the camera amongst the nebulae was exciting enough! I couldn’t have pulled this off alone; luckily, my partner was available on the one clear night we had all week, and he climbed to the summit while I stayed below, capturing the scene.
