Description:
I have long wanted to capture a good image of an auroral display, but up to now have only managed a few dim green glows on the horizon. Thanks to the G5 geomagnetic storm on 5/10 - 5/11, I now have thousands! This image was taken with a 5 s exposure at ISO 1600. It was one of many I used to create the time lapse video in the website link below.
