Description:
Cloud Iridescence is a colourful optical phenomenon that occurs when the sunlight diffracts off the tiny water droplets or ice crystals present in the air, creating the rainbow like effect in the thin clouds. This phenomenon is quite common, and happens when the clouds are thin and contain lots of tiny water droplets. This picture was clicked at 400mm focal length during the evening hours of 13th July, 2020.
