Description:
December 2025 Cold Full Moon setting over the Rideau Canal and the Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. The brickwork of the Chateau is lit orange by the rising sun, as is the ice that is starting to form on the Rideau Canal. The Rideau Canal will become the worlds longest skating rink in the weeks to come when it is completely frozen over. This is a single exposure developed in PhotoShop Creative Cloud. ISO 1600, Canon 6D, Canon 75-300mm lens set at 160mm F22. Exposure time is 1/125 second.
